Agricultural enterprises in the Minsk region have already harvested over 100,000 tons of hay

Agricultural enterprises in the Minsk Region have prepared more than 100,000 tonnes of hay. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

Alongside the harvest campaign, the Minsk Region is actively preparing feed for the livestock industry. “At present, agricultural enterprises have prepared 2.8 million tonnes of haylage, 41,700 tonnes of silage, 850,000 tonnes of grass feed, as well as more than 100,000 tonnes of hay, which is almost twice as much as last year,” the press service reported.

For the upcoming winter housing period, agricultural enterprises in the central region must prepare more than 140,000 tonnes of hay, 3.5 million tonnes of haylage, and 4.55 million tonnes of silage.
