For the Class of 2026: What Will Change in the Organization and Conduct of the Centralized Test?

Prime Minister Alexander Turchin signed the resolution “On Amendments to Resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 714 of June 6, 2006, and No. 518 of August 9, 2022,” BELTA was informed by the government press service. 

The document introduces amendments to the regulations governing the organisation and conduct of centralised testing (CT) in order to implement proposals of the State Commission for Monitoring the Preparation and Conduct of the 2025 Admissions Campaign.

In particular, the resolution provides for establishing requirements for CT examination centres to ensure the necessary conditions for applicants with special individual needs. These include the possibility of using specialised devices, including mobile communication devices with software for monitoring health conditions, as well as providing applicants with musculoskeletal impairments with special seats in the examination room for taking the CT, taking their needs into account.

At the same time, such applicants will be required, when registering for and taking the CT, to provide a medical certificate of health status and indicate in their application the need for special conditions.

The resolution also provides for clarifying the list of restrictions for applicants taking the CT, including a ban on removing written notes and records on any medium from the examination room and CT examination centre. It also specifies the requirements for calculators that may be used when completing examination papers in the subjects of Chemistry and Physics.
