Lukashenko: Belarus and Brazil need to build relations more intensively
Belarus and Brazil need to build their relations more intensively. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this at a meeting with Brazilian Ambassador Bernard Klingl, BELTA’s correspondent reports.
“I think we need to take a more intensive approach to building our relations and not complicate them. Simply put, the foundation is the economy. Therefore, we need to identify areas of economic cooperation that are of interest to Brazil and, on the other hand, to Belarus. We can do this,” the head of state said.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that there are many issues to discuss. “Mutually beneficial issues that I raised earlier. However, some of them have not been resolved. And since they are mutually beneficial — as you can see, times are changing very quickly — we need to take these issues seriously and decide whether we will move forward in this direction,” he said.
The head of state also stressed that the views of specialists in both Belarus and Brazil on issues of the world order fully coincide. “This will contribute, and is contributing, to the creation of more effective relations between our states,” the President is confident.
