Lukashenko signed a decree raising labor pensions starting September 1

Employment pensions will increase by an average of 5% from September 1. This is provided for by Decree No. 288, signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on August 24, BELTA was told by the press service of the head of state.

Funding for these purposes has been secured within the funds allocated for pension payments under the law “On the Budget of the State Extra-Budgetary Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2026.”
