Lukashenko will take part in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow on February 26
On February 26, President of Belarus and Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State Alexander Lukashenko will take part in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The event will take place in Moscow. The agenda includes seven items concerning bilateral integration cooperation.
The meeting will discuss the Main Directions for Implementing the Treaty Establishing the Union State for 2024–2026, as well as the drafting of a similar document for 2027–2029.
Other key agenda items concern the organisation of cross-border suburban passenger transport services; the establishment of a Union State Committee for Standardisation and Quality; mutual support for cooperation in the field of international justice; and the awarding of Union State prizes in literature and art for 2025–2026.
